June 28, 2017: Thanks to the generosity of Dr. Jonathan Bayuk and the team at AIANE, over 196 guests enjoyed a traditional summer cook-out to kick-off the holiday weekend. Barbeque chicken, baked beans, corn on the cob, cole slaw, and ice cold cola were on the menu. And to celebrate the birthdays of the month, cupcakes and ice cream were also served.
The meal was prepared by FOH kitchen staff, and case management helped with serving. The AIANE team provided table service to a very appreciative crowd, and left all guests with a single rose as a momento of celebration. One guest said to Dr. Bayuk, “Thank you for giving us this holiday. Without you, we would have nothing.”
