Guest Information

Welcome to the FOH Dining Room.  FOH is a small, private non-profit agency with a big mission.  In order to accommodate all those who need to eat in our dining room we have a few simple rules that you should be aware of.

  1. Guests are required to line up in an orderly fashion to receive their meals.*
  2. There will be no cutting into the line, any foul language or bad behavior in the dining room.
  3. Each guest may go through the line only once.  There are no seconds or refills.  Please do not take food for others.
  4. We serve nutritious meals, based on what our budget and donations allow.  Generally, we cannot accommodate special dietary requests.  Menus are posted in the dining room just prior to meal service.
  5. No food or dishes can be taken out of the dining room.
  6. All trays and dishes should be returned to the window at the far end of the serving line after eating.

*If you have a physical condition that prevents you from safely carrying your own tray, you must speak to your FOH Case Manager.   If an accommodation can be made, you will be required to pick up a written slip at the front desk prior to every meal.   If presented to the kitchen staff before meal service begins, they will arrange for you to be assisted.  If the service line has already started when you arrive, you will be assisted at the end of the line.

We have a very small staff that works very hard.  In order for them to prepare all the meals they do, they cannot provide food, beverages or ice between meals.  Please DO NOT ASK.  There is a water fountain for your use in the dining room.

Because FOH operates a fully licensed kitchen that must meet local, state and federal guidelines, we are restricted from accepting certain kinds of donations, specifically pre-prepared food.  We cannot allow food not prepared in our kitchen, under our supervision to be served to our guests on our property.

Much of the service in the dining room is provided by volunteers.   Please be sure to thank those who are helping to keep our food service program running.   If you would like to help by volunteering, please speak to your case manager.

Eating in the FOH Dining Room is a privilege that we extend to our guests.  Anyone who does not adhere to the rules of our dining room and the policies of FOH, or does not act in an acceptable manner will be asked to leave.  Failure to comply can result in a temporary or permanent ban from FOH Food Services.
