As we close the books on 2011 and start a new year, Friends of the Homeless, Inc. is seeing that progressive and aggressive techniques to end homelessness in Springfield are paying off.
FOH is kicking off The Soup Series, to help our community better understand the issues facing adult homeless individuals and how to become part of the solution so that soup lines don’t become a way of life again.
Community service will be part of the group's Annual Convention to be held at Springfield’s MassMutual Center. Friends of the Homeless, Inc. will be the beneficiary with the installation of a Memorial Garden, lunch and dinner service.
