Stabbing suspect caught at shelter

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A homeless man is scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday for allegedly stabbing another man several times on Worthington Street.

Springfield Police Sergeant John Delaney told 22News that Angel Andino, 31, of Springfield, was arrested on a charge of armed assault with intent to murder. He was also arrested on warrants out of New Bedford for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and intimidating a witness.
