SPRINGFIELD, MA (WAMC) - The city of Springfield Massachusetts adds a major component today to its nationally recognized efforts to end homelessness. A new 12 and a half million dollar facility is opening that will provide not only temporary shelter and meals to the homeless, but resources to help them find permanent housing WAMC's Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill reports.
