Part Time Cook
Friends of the Homeless is seeking a part time cook to join our team of dedicated employees and volunteers. Serving 13,000 meals per month, we are looking for individuals with experience preparing and serving meals for large groups of people (150-200 per sitting). Responsibilities include cleaning, maintaining the kitchen, dining room and coordinating volunteers. High School diploma or GED and food service preparation experience necessary, as well as current ServeSafe certification. Bi-linqual preferred.
Our agency is open all year, 7 days a week, including holidays. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility of schedule and have reliable transportation to our Worthington Street campus.
