Friends of the Homeless serves three meals a day, seven days a week. We welcome individuals or groups who would like to donate the fixings for a meal or prepare a meal in our kitchen to coordinate the schedule and requirements with our Kitchen Manager, Regina Packard at 413-732-3069. We must comply with all city, state and federal delivery, storage and handling regulations therefore all food donations should also be discussed in advance with Regina.
Contributions to the Friends of the Homeless dining room cupboard are always welcome:
- Cake, brownie, jello and pudding mixes
- Oatmeal, cream of wheat cereal
- Coffee
- Condiments in individual serving packets (ketchup, mustard, mayo, relish, salt & pepper)
- Sugar or sugar substitutes
- Canned or bottled juices (that do not require refrigeration until opened)
- Disposable cups and plastic ware
- Plastic wrap and large size foil
- Canned vegetables and fruit (the larger the size the better)
