Friends of the Homeless, Inc. the largest shelter in Western Massachusetts currently receives less than fourteen dollars per night, per bed to provide emergency shelter in our community. We urge you to contact your legislator and lend them your support to fight for FOH. Western Massachusetts should receive funding that is equitable to other programs across the state. In addition, we are asking for support for the new Friends of the Homeless resource center. We want more than a warehouse. We want people returning to the community as productive, contributing citizens whenever possible.
Ways to GiveWe rely on the generosity of the community to meet the actual cost of providing services to people who are homeless. Please consider making a donation to Friends of the Homeless and allow us to continue helping those in need. |
